Bucks Lakeshore Resort: A Hidden Gem for Dining and Relaxation

So happy we stopped here! Excellent restaurant from the food to the service to the vibe, and great views. Really a special gem that you must go to if in the area. Owners are fun and friendly. The tree smacker drink is a must have. Their fries, tenders, and fish were all very good. Thanks guys!

Morning is the Resort BEAUTIFUL, the staff are incredibly friendly and wonderfully attentive. The cabins are rustic, yet have modern conveniences like full fridges, new(er) beds, and kitchens. The campsites are spacious and the hiking is… extraordinary. Food is well priced and delicious and the drinks strong. Our wedding was on a weekend and the everyone was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for a long weekend and frankly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend.

What a lovely place to stop by for a quick bite to eat! The view from the outside patio is seriously wonderful, and the service was great. I believe our server was a girl named Sara, and she was really on-top-of-it, and the restaurant definitely got busy. The pizza was really light and fresh, and the crust was super tasty. The Veggie Burger was like some sort of black bean burger, and it was really delicious. The salad was crisp and fresh. Everything was perfect, and yeah, the location is wonderful.

Had the 'Tree Smacker' drink and early dinner. Great service. Nice drink, fruity, sweet, and alcoholic. Stayed in a cabin around Bucks Lake for a couple of nights (no internet, no landline, no cell reception). Great views, long walks around the lake, also around Thompson lake. Ideal for people wishing to get away from the cell phone attachment and notifications.

If you want to escape it all, visit or stay at Lakeshore. The Prime Rib they served last night was among the best I have ever had. Live music was great; and the service was excellent. Location is one of a kind. You can be in a Boat parade one hour, the next in a bar overlooking the lake, and the next sitting, drinking your favorite beverage listening to good music. With cabins and RV spots, there is something for everyone.

This place was just awesome. The Dixie fire burn scar was very impactful but we had an amazing drive and I was not sure if Google was right that we could get a bite to eat and a cocktail however we did and it was delightful. Paloma cocktail with fish a chips and I had a gin gin with gluten free bun grilled chicken sandwich and salad. Everything was fresh and the people were so nice and welcoming.

You can’t beat the views at Lakeshore and the menu has a wide variety of options! Amazing staff and delicious food. We try to go up at least twice per month during the season and wish we could go even more! My favorites are the Ahi Tuna and PCT pizza.
